In extensive QA testing this issue did not come up, nor was it reported by our beta testers during the public beta period.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Our engineering team will be looking into this first thing when they get back to work on Monday and a solution should be available soon.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One thing you might try doing is creating a new Firefox profile and installing the new extension into that. At a minimum that should get you local copies of your bookmarks.
