I did find it surprising initially that, for me, wanting to share something IS different from wanting to save it. I'm not organized enough yet (?) that I want to bookmark every random interesting article or video I read.

As an aside: I just went through the battle of choosing between OneNote and EverNote, and lost: I'm using OneNote at the moment but to no particular advantage over evernote ... except on occasion. My must-have features were drawing, linking between notes, and tagging; but linking hasn't gotten me what I wanted-- a delicious-like feeling of creating an intricate web of information, and I think that's because 1) linking is not sufficiently easy in OneNote, and 2), tagging is Really Not Easy.

I've ended up changing my notetaking to fit OneNote's hierarchy of pages style. NOT sufficient for my goal of writing down Everything.

My understanding is the new version of OneNote (2010) includes vastly upgraded tagging features in addition to a robust web-based version. It might make OneNote my default notetaking option. Afterall, it's not like Evernote's product offering is unassailable.
