It's just copying the content of your html file (exported from delicious) and pasting it into a note, like you could do a million other ways. Tags won’t be carried over either

Re: New Evernote release: Smartly done Delicious importing

Same here, I'll let you know if I find another way

Re: New Evernote release: Smartly done Delicious importing

I've just signed up to EverNote in a bid to save my delicious bookmarks but it seems the import feature is no longer available. Any ideas why? Too much demand make it crash?

Re: New Evernote release: Smartly done Delicious importing

I used Google Notebook because I firmly believed Google would ensure its longevity and hopefully improve it. Sadly, it turns out Notebook isn't their top priority, so I began to export - manually - my nearly thousand notes to Evernote, which I find absolutely terrific. In fact, Evernote is web-based, desktop-based (PC+Mac, I use it on both) and iphone-friendly. Sync is key to me because it means I can develop and access to my database wherever I am. Now I just want to switch completely to Evernote without spending days importing my notes.

Re: New Evernote release: Smartly done Delicious importing

I'm with you on Delicious Bookmarks. I don't really use Evernote, as impressive as it is. I use Delicious and Google Notebook.

But Evernote is a good solution for some.

Re: New Evernote release: Smartly done Delicious importing

A delicious import feature ? Yeah, great. But frankly, I don't really see why i'd transfer my 1500+ Delicious bookmarks when I can handily browse them from my - wait for it - browser, hello Firefox+awesome Delicious addon.

I would prefer a billion times to import my stranded Google Notebook notes into my Evernote database.
